1915-2023: A genocide denied is a genocide continued. American rapper Marc2Ray of Armenian origin wrote about this in his X microblog.

“We are witnessing a second Armenian Genocide play out RIGHT NOW in 2023! The 120,000 indigenous Armenians living in Artsakh need our help!” he wrote.   “I am truly heartbroken by the news this week in Artsakh. Yet, I am given some small hope by the amount of elected leaders from around the world who are publicly calling out Azerbaijan’s attempt at ethnic cleansing.  Yet this is not enough. We need legislative change and guaranteed protections for the 120,000 men, women, and children who now find themselves starved and in life-threatening danger in their own indigenous homeland. Sanctions must be leveled at Azerbaijan and the U.S. needs to stop supplying aide if it’s being used to help commit genocide.” he wrote, calling on the ANCA to join the efforts to put pressure on the U.S. so that they "put an end to this cycle of destruction".
