Maluma told how he got to know Marc Anthony and even became his groomsman at his wedding at The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.  

The Colombian singer noted that he has been listening to Mark Anthony's songs since childhood, and was surprised when one day the singer wanted to meet him personally.

"I received a text and there was Marc. He said, ‘Yo, bro, come to hang out to my house. I was like, ‘What?’ And then I went to his house and we spent at least 8 hours talking, listening to his new songs, listening to my new songs…. He’s like a big brother for me", he recalled. 

Speaking about becoming a groomsman, Maluma told it was a new experience for him.

"It was the first time when I was having that role in a wedding. That was so weird. He called me saying he was going to have his wedding and told he wanted me to be a part of it. I was like, ‘Of course, but when is it?’ And then he was like, ‘January 28th.’ And I was, ‘Bro, that’s my birthday. Why are you getting married on my birthday?’ Like, ‘Can you change it?’ But it was nice. I didn’t spend that money on my party. He paid the cost.’
