Monica Bellucci and Tim Burton looked cosy on Thursday as they stepped out for their first red carpet experience together since confirming their romance, Daily Mail writes.  

The Italian actress, 59, and iconic film director, 65, put on a loved-up display at the Diabolik Chi Sei premiere at the 18th Rome Film Festival. 

Monica showed off her age-defying figure in a figure-hugging charcoal gown that complimented her gorgeous frame with a criss-cross neckline. 

Burton was supporting his new flame, who plays Altea di Vallemberg in the film.  

They had been secretly dating for months, but Monica finally confirmed their relationship in an interview with Elle France in June. The Italian actress professed her love for the filmmaker months after they were first linked.

'What I can say... I'm glad I met the man, first of all,' she said. 'It's one of those encounters that rarely happens in life... I know the man, I love him, and now I'm going to meet the director, another adventure begins.'

The couple could barely keep their hands off one another as they publicly showed they were together. 

Monica and Tim first met 16 years ago but are said to have started dating after seeing one another at the Lumière Film Festival in Lyon in October.
