Jennifer Lopez has spent $20 million of her own money to fund The Greatest Love Story Never Told, a documentary about her 20-year journey to find each other with Ben Affleck—but the movie could end up costing her much more.

Although the 51-year-old actor publicly supports his wife's project, privately he does not understand his wife's desire to expose their personal life to the public, Life & Style reports, citing a source.  “Ben has gotten very good at biting his tongue, but he's known to be unhappy with J.Lo's endless need for attention,” says the source.

“The private moments I have always considered sacred and special because they are partly private,” Ben notes in the documentary. “So it was kind of an adjustment for me.”

In the movie, J.Lo even allows a group of songwriters to use love letters sent to her by Ben, called "The Greatest Love Story Never Told," as inspiration for her new album This Is Me...Now.

“Ben loves J.Lo very much and to some extent knew what he was getting into,” admits the source. "But he worries that by putting so much of himself on display, J.Lo is simply opening them up to too much public scrutiny, something that hasn't previously helped their relationship."
