According to Christie's, the watch was made around 2001, but made its debut at the 2004 Basel Fair, where its outlandish design caused a stir. In addition to the leopard print dial, the watch features a bezel set with 36 square-cut yellow sapphires and a cap set with 48 brilliant-cut diamonds. The model also features eight numbers set with diamonds. The watch went under the hammer for $176,400.
