The richest man in the world, Elon Musk, assures that there was no secret about the birth of his child from Neuralink executive director Shivona Zilis, and issuing a press release on this matter would be strange.

Earlier this year, Elon Musk had a baby with Shivona, but the public only recently found out about it.

“As for the ‘secret birth,’ that’s a lie,” he says. “All our friends and relatives knew. If there wasn't a press release that was weird, then it doesn't mean 'secret.'"

This is Musk's 12th child and Zilis' third. The name and gender of the newborn have not yet been disclosed.

Musk, 52, has repeatedly voiced his concerns about population decline.

His latest child was first reported by Bloomberg in the article "Elon Wants You to Have More Children," which focused on his obsession with fertility.
