At the Watches & Wonders exhibition in Shanghai, Vacheron Constantin unveiled its latest addition to the Fiftysix collection, as well as a Year of the Snake watch for the upcoming Lunar New Year, Hypebeast reports.

Fiftysix Self-Winding

Housing a 40mm rose gold case, the Fiftysix Self-Winding watch embraces the model’s classic aesthetic, showcasing a sophisticated design language that is part modern, part retro. The dial, painted a deep black, features an opaline center and sunray-patterned outer section that elegantly contrast with its warm hour markers, hands, and case.

As the name suggests, the watch is powered by an in-house self-winding movement that offers a power reserve of approximately 30 hours. The strap is an anthracite calfskin leather strap.

Métiers d’Art The Legend of the Chinese Zodiac—Year of the Snake

Available in 18k rose gold and platinum, the Vacheron Constantin Year of the Snake features a dial depicting a cobra on a stone bed in Grand Feu enamel.

Limited to 25 pieces, the dials are hand-engraved and enameled. The rose gold version uses 18k 4n gold for the decoration, while the platinum version uses 18k white gold.

At the heart of the watch is the 2460 G4 Manufacture caliber, which delivers 40 hours of continuous power at an astonishing frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour.
