Will Smith farted so much on set that the crew had to evacuate for three hours, claims Men in Black director Barry Sonnenfeld.
Sonnenfeld, who directed Will in the 1997 action comedy Men in Black, claims the Oscar winner once farted so much that the entire set had to be evacuated.
According to the director, the incident occurred while Smith and co-star Tommy Lee Jones were in a transforming car that required them to be “hermetically sealed” in a capsule.
“Some people just fart. And you really don’t want to be in a very small hermetically sealed space with Will Smith farting. You wouldn’t even want to sit next to him at the Disney Ranch,” he said on the Let’s Talk Off Camera With Kelly Ripa podcast.
Men in Black was the third-highest-grossing movie of 1997, grossing $584 million worldwide.
