The mask can be applied over makeup or “bare skin”. First, fill a cup with water to wet the brush. You will also need to transfer the mask to a separate jar or small plate to make it easier to remove as you will be quickly applying layers. Take a small square brush and dip it in the water, then shake off any excess liquid before dipping. Gently apply the mask in small strokes all over your face, allowing each layer to dry completely before applying the next. The more layers you apply, the more the “glass skin” effect will appear. Once you achieve the desired look, do not talk or show any emotion - the mask will crack and lose its smoothness. To remove it, the brand suggests opening your mouth wide and gently pulling on the edges to remove it in one clean motion.

As soon as I tried this mask, I was hooked. I couldn’t stop looking in the mirror because of how unreal and otherworldly I looked. You almost feel like a hybrid of an alien and an angel, reflecting all the light around you (especially if you go outside into the sunlight). The only downside is that you can’t move your face. If you can stay still and show no emotion, you can wear this look for a long time. If not, it will only last for a few minutes.

Once I was ready to remove the mask, I opened my mouth and ripped it off. I was pleasantly surprised to find that my skin underneath felt very soft and hydrated. The product comes off in one piece, allowing some, if not most, of your makeup to stay in place.
