Bvlgari has opened the world’s largest luxury jewellery production plant in the historic jewellers’ district of Valenza.
The new plant is part of a thoughtful, streamlined strategy that is as much about functionality as it is about vision. The aim is to double production capacity by 2029, strengthen creative collaborations and modernise the way Bvlgari brings its ultra-luxury creations to life.

The opening was nothing short of spectacular. A panel discussion and ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Jean-Christophe Babin, CEO of Bvlgari, along with LVMH management and local institutions, was followed by a tour of the state-of-the-art facility.
“Today marks a historic milestone not only for Bvlgari, but also for the Valenza territory and the global jewellery industry,” said Jean-Christophe.
It’s not just about producing more jewelry. The upgraded site emphasizes interdisciplinary innovation, multidisciplinary training, and deep investment in talented artisans. By 2029, the facility is expected to create more than 1,600 jobs, including more than 500 new positions, reinforcing Bvlgari’s role as a cultural guide in the jewelry industry.
As the icing on the cake of this golden chapter, Bvlgari has also unveiled a bold educational initiative: the Scuola Bvlgari. The Maison’s first school open to all, now housed in the expanded complex, the school focuses exclusively on the art of jewelry making. The Scuola Bvlgari is also a strategic way to secure the future of the industry, ensuring that the next generation of artisans is nurtured from within.
