Maroon 5 and BLACKPINK’s LISA have teamed up for their first collaboration. They’ve unveiled a new set of visuals for the song, writes Hypebeast.

The music video is inspired by the cult action film Mr. & Mrs. Smith, which was shot on 35mm film by director Aerin Moreno.

“It’s just a guitar-based song that we haven’t done in so long. I think it’s just the purest song, and we’re so happy that LISA is on it. It’s actually kind of an emotional record for me because it was kind of a reconnection with our roots, which a lot of our fans were like, ‘Hey, we want to hear that sound again.’ It’s been over 20 years, so I think it’s time for it to come back,” Adam Levine noted.

The track was previously unveiled on Instagram, showcasing Levine’s falsetto vocals. The single is expected to appear on the band's upcoming album, which follows its 2021 project Jordi.
