In Las Vegas, singer and content creator Ortal Edri turned her wedding into an unforgettable performance — for better or worse. The ceremony at the iconic Graceland Wedding Chapel began with a surprise for her groom: Ortal delivered a live rendition of Elvis Presley’s classic “Can’t Help Falling in Love” followed by Mariah Carey’s heartfelt ballad “My All.”

Amid her powerful vocals and the backing of an Elvis impersonator, the groom couldn’t handle the spotlight — and vanished into the background. In a viral TikTok video posted by Ortal, she’s seen literally chasing him back to the altar.
“I wanted to surprise him with his favorite Elvis song, but I ended up running after him around the chapel because he disappeared,” Ortal confessed in the video caption.
In an interview with People magazine, the bride explained that her husband Shamir is naturally very shy and dislikes being the center of attention. “Unlike me!” she laughed. “Plus, he had a bit too much to drink before the ceremony and was tipsy. With all the pressure and excitement, I think he just went with his instincts.”
The wedding itself was a spontaneous affair: Shamir proposed only days before they tied the knot in Sin City. With so little notice, even close family and friends couldn’t make it, leaving the chapel nearly empty.
TikTok users quickly seized on the moment for jokes.
“He was holding his phone like he was calling for help, but it was too late,” one viewer commented. Another added, “Bro, blink twice if you need an extraction.”
Despite the playful teasing, many viewers agreed that Ortal’s serenade was a heartfelt and touching gesture.
