Victoria Beckham launches luxury foundation with skincare benefits

19:38, September 2

Victoria Beckham continues to expand her beauty empire while posting impressive financial results. The designer is set to debut The Foundation Drops, a luxury foundation created in collaboration with skincare brand Augustinus Bader, reports WWD.

The product will be available starting September 3 at $110, offered in 19 shades. “I wanted to create this from the very beginning of Victoria Beckham Beauty,” Beckham explains. “But it was clear that it was a huge challenge — the foundation category is incredibly competitive. I wanted a product that felt innovative and honest.”

The Foundation Drops combines full coverage with skincare benefits. Using Augustinus Bader’s TFC8 technology, known for supporting the skin’s natural renewal processes, the foundation not only evens skin tone and conceals imperfections but also delivers long-term skin health benefits.

“TFC8 works best in direct contact with the skin, delivering essential nutrients. In makeup, our challenge was to preserve the efficacy of the active ingredients while incorporating pigment,” explains Augustinus Bader.

Beckham and her team spent six years developing the product, aiming to create a foundation that conceals flaws, evens skin tone, and nurtures the skin without causing irritation.

The brand’s financial performance is equally impressive: combined revenue from Victoria Beckham Beauty and her fashion line surpassed $150 million, with foundation products projected to account for around 20% of the beauty business. Other bestsellers include the Satin Kajal Liner and the brand’s fragrance line.

The 19 shades cater to a diverse range of skin tones, making it easier for customers to find their perfect match. The launch will be supported through both online and in-store sales, with availability at 150 points of sale worldwide initially, expanding to 200 by the end of the year.

Clinical testing showed that 100% of participants reported improved skin elasticity, reduced wrinkles, and increased hydration after use.
