Harry Potter fans have a reason to celebrate: Daniel Radcliffe and Tom Felton reunited — and even posed together for a photo — for the first time in more than a decade.
The actors crossed paths on December 1 in New York at a special performance of Merrily We Roll Along, the stage production starring Radcliffe that earned him a Tony Award. PEOPLE witnessed the reunion: Radcliffe and Felton greeted each other with a warm hug in the theater lobby, exchanged a few words, and then posed for a joint photo.
The last time the duo was photographed together at an event was back in July 2011 — at the New York premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2.

Radcliffe is now 36, Felton is 38. The two first met as teenagers on the set of The Sorcerer’s Stone, which premiered 24 years ago. On screen, their characters — Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy — were fierce rivals, but behind the scenes the actors have maintained a warm friendship for years.
Felton has often said that Radcliffe inspired him to step onto the theater stage:
“He was one of the reasons I wanted to try myself on Broadway,” he told Good Morning America this fall.

Felton is currently playing Draco Malfoy in the Broadway production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. The show continues to break records: over Thanksgiving week alone, it grossed more than $3.15 million. Felton even reprises Draco’s iconic line — “Scared, Potter?” — before stepping into the duel scene.
