To celebrate its 40th anniversary, Jacob & Co. has unveiled the revolutionary Angel Cut diamond—a patented, in-house creation honed over two years.
Named after founder Jacob Arabo’s wife, Angela, the cut features 37 precisely crafted facets, symbolizing their 37 years of marriage. Angel Cut combines technical precision with aesthetic brilliance: rectangular stones maximize light return while preserving more rough material than traditional brilliant cuts. The distinctive lozenge-shaped table and stepped rectangular outline produce a controlled, multidimensional sparkle, transforming each diamond into a dazzling masterpiece.

The first timepiece to showcase this innovation is the Billionaire Double Tourbillon Angel Cut. Its impressive 54mm × 41mm 18K white gold case is set with 98 Angel Cut diamonds totaling 51.13 carats. The luminous display continues across the 18K white gold dial, invisibly set with 88 additional Angel Cut diamonds and 80 baguette-cut diamonds framing twin tourbillon apertures. In total, nearly 300 diamonds weighing around 79 carats create an uninterrupted brilliance across the watch.

The watch’s mechanics are equally spectacular: the exclusive hand-wound JCAM50 caliber comprises 460 components and two one-minute flying tourbillons, symmetrically positioned at 12 and 6 o’clock for perfect balance. The timepiece is secured by a blue alligator leather strap with an 18K white gold, diamond-set deployant clasp, offers a 72-hour power reserve, and is water-resistant up to 30 meters.

As a pinnacle of Jacob & Co.’s haute horlogerie, the Billionaire Double Tourbillon Angel Cut is limited to just 18 pieces worldwide, reserved for collectors who value both luxury and technical mastery.
While the brand has not publicly announced an official price, estimates place the model in the multi-million-dollar range. Comparable versions of the Billionaire Double Tourbillon are offered by dealers for approximately $2.1–$3.7 million, depending on the diamond count and customization.
