Real estate circles in Miami are abuzz with rumors that Elon Musk may have toured an ultra-luxury mansion currently under construction, valued at around $300 million. According to sources familiar with the matter, the property is located on North Bay Road — one of the city’s most prestigious and expensive areas, the New York Post reports.

According to Gimme Shelter, several market insiders claim the billionaire may have visited the site in dramatic fashion: allegedly arriving by helicopter, landing in Biscayne Bay, and then reaching the property by boat. However, developer Todd Michael Glaser declined to confirm the identity of potential buyers, leaving the matter open.

“He could have been there,” Glaser said. “I don’t get involved in who is viewing the property.”

Still, some brokers operating in the ultra-luxury segment believe Musk could indeed have been the prospective buyer, while others dismiss the claims as speculative.

A Property With History — and a Rapid Price Surge

The site in question is located at 5940 North Bay Road — often referred to as Miami’s “Park Avenue.” In July of last year, a group of investors led by Glaser acquired the 2.3-acre property for $105 million. At the time, it included a historic 1936 mansion with 290 feet of frontage on Biscayne Bay.

Just two months later, the property was reportedly resold for $169 million, according to market sources. It has since been withdrawn from open listings and is now undergoing redevelopment into a new ultra-modern estate.

A Project Worth Hundreds of Millions

Current estimates suggest the future residence could be listed at approximately $300 million, although the final price remains subject to change as construction progresses.

The project has previously been featured in private presentations hosted by brokers Zachary Vichinsky and Brett Harris (Bespoke Real Estate), as well as Nelson Gonzalez (Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices).

Architecture Designed for the Ultra-Wealthy

While details remain confidential until completion, the developer has outlined key features of the residence: contemporary architecture dominated by glass, landscaped rooftop spaces, and advanced engineering designed to withstand the region’s климатические risks.

According to specifications, the structure will be elevated 17 feet above flood level, equipped with hurricane-resistant technologies, and include a 31-car garage — a показатель of the project’s scale within the ultra-premium real estate segment.

“A Property That Appears Out of Nowhere”

The sales strategy itself has drawn attention: the home will not be publicly shown until construction is complete. According to Glaser, the property is deliberately being kept off the market and will only be introduced once fully finished.

“We won’t talk about it until it’s done,” he said. “We’re not showing it or marketing it. It will just appear, as if out of nowhere. That drives ultra-wealthy buyers crazy.”

Construction is expected to be completed within the next two years.

The North Bay Road project reflects a broader trend in Miami’s ultra-luxury real estate market, where private residences are increasingly becoming architectural statements aimed at global billionaires.

Against this backdrop, rumors of Elon Musk’s potential interest are only fueling intrigue around what is already being described as one of the most ambitious projects in Miami’s real estate history.
