An old Soviet Yak-40, which had stood abandoned on the shores of Lake Sevan for decades, has unexpectedly “taken flight” again. Swiss artist Micha Hänni, known under the pseudonym Vierwind, transformed the aircraft into a massive hidden mural that cannot be seen from the ground. Only from above does the full image become visible: the plane’s wings turn into the arms of Christ, while the aircraft itself forms a cross.
