After 15 years, legendary French singer Lara Fabian returned to Yerevan to the stage of the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex. Yesterday, on June 8, the singer’s big solo concert in Yerevan took place in the packed hall of the complex.
Fabian performed the most famous and beloved songs from her repertoire, telling the audience about their creation and the importance of these songs in her life. Every sound of the singer’s powerful voice was thrilling and resonated with the audience. Her performances were accompanied by the State Symphony Orchestra of Armenia, led by Sergey Smbatyan. The orchestra’s accompaniment made every note even more alive and enlivening.
The audience listened to her performances silently and attentively, cheering her on before and after each song with thunderous applause, “I love you” expressions and bouquets of flowers. The luckier ones managed to take pictures with their favorite artist right near the stage, and the latter smiled and tried to strike an interesting pose for beautiful photos.
“I am happy to be in Armenia and meet so many kind people,” she shared.
Fabian chose a dress by an Armenian designer for the concert, which we will tell you about later.
The concert ended with the most anticipated hits: Je Suis Malade, Je t’aime and Adagio, which have been considered the singer’s singnature for years.
The concert was organized by Mezzo Production and Eventpro.
Lara Fabian had also performed in Yerevan, at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex, in 2011, as part of the Francophonie Days.
