Draped in a seductive, figure-hugging sheer lace dress, Shania Twain is sending a powerful manifesto against ageism and body insecurities.

The "Man! I Feel Like A Woman!" hitmaker has been opening for pop superstar Harry Styles in London, churning out one daring look after another—and she couldn't care less what people think of her wardrobe.

In a recent interview with The Independent, Twain defiantly stated: "Yes, I have the body of a 60-year-old woman, but I'm still going to walk down the beach in a bikini. And frankly, I don't give a damn whether people like it or not."

A Wave of Criticism and Madonna Comparisons

Despite the singer's fighting spirit, her overtly sexual stage persona continues to draw mockery online.

One user on X (formerly Twitter) posted a video from a recent Styles concert showing Twain performing in a see-through black lace gown that clearly exposed her satin lingerie underneath. The caption read simply: "Shania... why?"

The post instantly went viral, sparking hundreds of opinions from both critics and defenders of the star:

Interestingly, the controversial video itself—filmed at Wembley Stadium where Shania is supporting Harry Styles on his tour for his fourth album, Kiss All the Time, Disco Occasionally—originally featured an admiring text overlay: "Oh my god, to look LIKE THIS at 60!"

Shania Twain has never hidden the fact that she struggled deeply with the bodily changes brought on by menopause. In a recent interview with The Times, the country icon admitted that she experienced a profound crisis during her 2019 Las Vegas residency.
