To some, he is just a harmless kid; to others, a symbol of society's rapid degradation. The antics of a 14-year-old teenager terrorizing Paris have split France into two camps, the Daily Mail reports.

The teenager, named Hamza, has become a bona fide social media star thanks to the destructive videos he shoots across the capital. His popularity has reached such heights that he is regularly discussed on major TV news channels, and mainstream media outlets are lining up for interviews. On one television talk show, he was even openly described as a "symptom of the country's collapse."

On camera, Hamza pushes sunbathing women into canals, "shoots" unsuspecting cyclists with water guns, stages "water wars" with gendarmes, and brazenly speeds through Parisian streets on an electric scooter while vaping.

"What Are His Parents Doing?" and Accusations of Racism

French society is outraged not only by the teenager's behavior but also by his family's stance. Under articles detailing Hamza's latest "exploits," thousands of people are asking the same question: "Where are the parents?"

Hamza himself claims that his father (who lives separately from his mother) fully approves of his street life. "He leaves me alone because he knows I'm not doing anything wrong. I only splash passersby and the police with water sometimes."

These words are backed up by comments from the father himself, who insisted in an interview with a Parisian publication that Hamza is a "good boy" who "isn't hurting anyone." Meanwhile, the teenager's mother offers a brief response to any questions about her son's behavior: all criticism against him is simply "racism."

The blogger himself is more than ready to play this trump card. When asked by the CNews TV channel about the endless stream of hate in his comments, he arrogantly stated: "People call me a thug. But most of them are just racists."

From Water Guns to Real Arrests

However, the pranks have long ceased to be limited to just water splashes. According to Le Figaro, Hamza was arrested yet again yesterday around 6 p.m. — this time on suspicion of stealing a mobile phone.

CNews adds that since June 2025, the teenager has ended up in police stations at least ten times. Just at the end of June, he was detained for "acts of group violence and vandalism."

Most of his videos spark fury among viewers. In one clip, Hamza and his friends approach two women relaxing by the edge of a canal. Realizing his intention, one of them begs the boy to stop, but he ignores the plea and roughly shoves her into the water to the mocking laughter of his friends.

In another clip, he shoots a water rifle point-blank at the windshield of a police car and at the driver of a stopped Range Rover, forcing the man to step on the gas to escape the "prankster."

Cyclists also regularly become victims of the teenager. In one of the most vicious videos, Hamza incites a crowd to surround a courier on a rented Lime bike — as a result, the mob literally douses the miserable guy with water from head to toe.

Furthermore, Hamza organized a fake "customs control" at the Canal Saint-Martin: he threatened to soak passersby unless they paid him two euros. Online, he has already been dubbed "La Douane" ("Customs") for this scheme.

"Filthy Whore in the Name of Allah" and a Political Scandal

Some of the teenager's "jokes" take on a much darker tone. Julien Odoul, an MP from the right-wing National Rally party, published a video in which Hamza shouts at a woman through the window of a residential building: "Shut your mouth, filthy whore... in the name of Allah, your mother is a whore."

"Left-wing politicians keep telling us about a sweet boy who is just playing with water guns at the Canal Saint-Martin. How much longer are we going to tolerate the antics of this scum?" Odoul fumed.

The politician later added: "In a normal world, the authorities would have contacted Hamza's parents long ago and threatened to strip them of social benefits. But in France, this youth quickly realized that no one would stop him: not his parents, not the authorities, not the police, and not the justice system."
