The familiar chocolate-brown color has given way to a dazzling radiance. In collaboration with the Swarovski jewelry house, the Toblerone brand has unveiled a limited-edition art piece, the Toblerone Crystal Bar, which has already been dubbed "The Ultimate Gift." This project brings together the iconic Swiss confectionery brand and the biggest name in the world of crystal craftsmanship, creating an item that awakens the inner child but is affordable only to a very wealthy adult.

The campaign's promotional video showcases the iconic triangular bar in an almost ephemeral, ethereal guise. It looks more like an artifact from another galaxy than a familiar item from a Duty-Free shelf. Each crystal replica is handcrafted by Swarovski masters, individually numbered, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, and completely unique.
851 grams — the weight of a single crystal bar;
305 millimeters — the length of the art piece;
546 perfectly sculpted facets adorn each model;
140 hours of development and 65 hours of meticulous handcrafting were required to create each piece, transforming a simple sweet treat into a genuine work of collectible art
"Toblerone has always been more than just a chocolate bar. It’s an entire ritual, a symbol of travel, and one of the most recognizable gifts in the world," notes Ian Livingston, President of Toblerone & World Travel Retail. "Creating a crystal Toblerone together with Swarovski is a natural extension of our brand philosophy: we take quality seriously, but we never take ourselves too seriously. This project will help raise funds for wonderful charitable initiatives that make the world a better place."
To this day, leaving an airport without that coveted yellow Toblerone box for loved ones is considered almost a crime. But from July 1 to July 31, 2026, travelers in the world's largest hubs — including New York (JFK), Dubai, Doha, Delhi, Singapore, Frankfurt, Madrid, Athens, and Zurich — will stumble upon dazzling pop-up installations.
Right inside the terminal, passengers can participate in a live auction and bid for the Toblerone Crystal Bar. Meanwhile, those relaxing at home will be able to join the bidding online.
While the fate of the unique crystal bars is being decided at the charity auction, Toblerone has prepared something for everyday travelers who don't want to leave empty-handed.
As part of the campaign, a limited series of Ultimate Gift Boxes adorned with Swarovski crystals will appear in World Travel Retail stores globally. Inside, buyers will find exactly what they came for — the classic milk chocolate Toblerone. The chocolate remains completely edible, but the outer packaging turns it into perhaps the most glamorous Toblerone to ever grace a Duty-Free shelf.
