Music producer Benny Blanco has embarked on a transatlantic voyage by ship to reunite with his wife, Selena Gomez, opting for the unusual journey because of his long-standing fear of flying.

The 38-year-old shared a TikTok video filmed in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. The clip featured the caption:

"Crossing the Atlantic almost like Titanic just to see my wife because I'm scared of flying."

In the post's caption, Blanco simply wrote:

"The things you do for love."

Gomez has been in London since May filming the new season of Only Murders in the Building. During that time, she briefly left the U.K. only to attend the wedding of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce in New York City.

A few weeks ago, the singer shared a heartfelt message to her husband on social media alongside photos of the two together.

"Distance means so little when someone means so much... Miss you, baby," she wrote.

Blanco has spoken openly about his fear of flying on several occasions. During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in 2024, he revealed that he prefers traveling to Europe by sea.

"I don't fly. I literally take a ship to Europe. On the third day, they tell you, 'This is where the Titanic sank.' And you're just out there in the middle of the ocean," he recalled.

The producer also revealed that during one of those voyages, he and Ed Sheeran watched Titanic together while onboard the ship.
