Megan Fox has fired back at online critics after one commenter mocked her for posting a revealing photoshoot, claiming it was "unbelievably embarrassing" for a 40-year-old mother of four.

The 40-year-old actress recently shared a series of Instagram photos in which she posed in a black mesh bandeau top, lace lingerie, and a sheer veil, complete with a glowing halo above her head. Alongside the images, Fox wrote:

"Men would have them believe disobedience was Eve's vice, when it was her greatest virtue."

Not everyone was impressed by the post. One critic commented:

"This is unbelievably embarrassing. A 40-year-old mother posting this. It's giving a 16-year-old Tumblr girl."

Fox wasted no time responding.

"Which one of my exes is this?" she quipped.

Her witty comeback quickly went viral, racking up thousands of likes as fans rushed to defend the actress.

"Fun fact: women are allowed to be attractive at any age," one user wrote.

Another added:

"People are acting like she's 80. Calm down."

Fox is the mother of four children - sons Noah, Bodhi, and Journey, whom she shares with ex-husband Brian Austin Green, and daughter Saga, whom she welcomed with rapper Machine Gun Kelly.
