Ariana Grande, 33, has revealed that unknown hackers breached her colleagues' digital devices to steal unreleased tracks, videos, and photos, which were then sold on the black market.

According to a lawsuit filed in California and obtained by People, the cyber thefts went on for years. The pop star has not yet named specific suspects: her legal team plans to issue subpoenas to internet service providers and tech companies to unmask the perpetrators.

The lawsuit alleges that the hackers committed "unlawful and egregious theft, distribution, and exploitation of unreleased content."

Grande's legal team emphasized that the hackers made "substantial sums of money" selling her personal data and working materials on the dark web. The singer noted that most of the stolen files were recorded during private studio sessions and "never intended for public consumption."

Court documents state that in 2023 alone, the culprits leaked 45 unreleased songs, with hundreds of similar leaks occurring since her debut in 2011.

"This lawsuit should serve as a warning to anyone seeking to profit off someone else's hard work. It's about protecting not just Ariana, but all artists facing invasion of privacy and creative theft. Musicians have the right to decide how and when to share their art with the world," a source close to the singer commented.
