A funny incident involving pop diva Rihanna is taking social media by storm. During a trip to France, a local man named Clément approached the star outside a hotel in Cannes and had an awkward moment due to a language barrier.

Approaching the singer, the young man addressed her in broken English: "Rihanna, please, a picture of me?" (literally meaning a solo photo of himself).

Rihanna took the phrase literally: she enthusiastically took the smartphone from the bewildered guy and prepared to take a solo shot of him.

"I'll take a cool shot now, how do you want to pose?" the singer cheerfully asked, looking at the screen.

When Clément pointed at her with a gesture in surprise, the star realized her mistake and burst into genuine laughter: "Oh, you want me to be in the frame too?!" After that, they took the long-awaited joint photo, and the Frenchman managed to compliment the star.

The situation was captured on camera by the singer's partner, A$AP Rocky, who was filming the funny scene from the side. The rapper jokingly got jealous of his beloved and immediately threatened the fan: "Buddy, easy with the compliments!"
