The legendary Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo and his partner Georgina Rodríguez have officially legalized their relationship. The couple held a private wedding in the picturesque Portuguese town of Cascais.
The wedding ceremony took place in an intimate setting on Tuesday—exactly one year after the couple announced their engagement. The celebration was attended by their closest circle: their five children.

Cristiano shared the joyful news with his fans on Instagram by posting a touching photo of their wedding rings. The caption under the photo was concise, yet spoke for itself: "C❤️G."
Representatives for the footballer also officially confirmed the news of their marriage: "Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez got married today during a civil ceremony in Cascais, Portugal, and are now officially husband and wife. The ceremony was private and intimate, attended by their five children."

News of the wedding came just days after rumors circulated in the media about the couple's upcoming wedding at the Funchal Cathedral. Because of this information, thousands of devoted fans gathered outside the church walls. It later turned out that it was the wedding of a completely different Portuguese couple from Madeira—Fábio Ramos and Fátima Nicole Cunha Teixeira.

As a reminder, Cristiano and Georgina's love story began in 2016. At the time, she was working at a Gucci store in Madrid earning £10 an hour, where fate brought her together with the future global star. After 10 years of a relationship, the couple has finally tied the knot.
