Kendall Jenner proved that truly great fashion never goes out of style. For her arrival on the Lido, she turned the red carpet into a journey through fashion history, stepping out in a gown created in the very same year she was born.
For her first Venice Film Festival, the 30-year-old model chose a luxurious shimmering gown adorned with beading and a golden botanical print from the Giorgio Armani archives, originally presented for the Fall 1995 collection.

Keeping the vintage look free of unnecessary embellishment, Kendall skipped necklaces, bracelets and rings, allowing the dress to take center stage. She accessorized it with elegant diamond earrings by Briony Raymond and nude pumps by Aquazzura.

“I’m really looking forward to putting the dress on and heading to the carpet,” Jenner told Vogue shortly before her appearance.

To complement the archival aesthetic, the model finished the look with neutral-toned makeup and a zigzag part — an iconic beauty trend from the 1990s.

Earlier this year, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star became the official face of Emporio Armani’s Power of You fragrance, making her triumphant appearance in one of the brand’s archival creations all the more symbolic.
