Selena Gomez channeled serious “goddess energy” at the Emmy Awards — and quite literally lit up the red carpet.

Ahead of the 34-year-old actress and singer’s appearance at the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards, stylist and television host Zanna Roberts Rassi teased fans about her look on E!. That evening, Gomez stepped onto the red carpet in a luxurious gold, bead-embellished gown.

The seamless, strapless Louis Vuitton silhouette flowed elegantly over the actress’s figure and softly pooled on the floor, creating a dramatic mermaid shape.

Before Gomez made her red-carpet entrance, Rassi revealed a small detail about the look. According to Selena’s stylist, Erin Walsh, the gown looked as though it “weighed a billion pounds,” even though it was actually “light as a feather.”

The golden ensemble truly gave Gomez a regal glow: with every step, the fabric, covered in metallic embellishments, caught the light of photographers’ flashes.

She completed the look with jewelry from Tiffany & Co. Gomez wore a Jean Schlumberger Bird on a Rock by Tiffany Feathers High Jewelry bracelet, along with Schlumberger earrings and rings valued at $18,000, $65,000 and $26,000, respectively.

The gown was embellished with shimmering gold details arranged in a fan-like circular pattern around the waist, accentuating the actress’s curves.
