One fan handed the 45-year-old star a red Birkin 35 made of crocodile leather and asked her to sign it right in the middle of the bag. Kardashian was handed a gold-colored pen, but before putting her signature on the luxury accessory, she visibly hesitated.

“This feels illegal,” Kardashian joked before adding, “Oh my God, this is sacrilege.”

A video of the unusual moment, shared on social media, quickly caught users’ attention. After signing the bag, Kim posed for a photo with its owner, who now has her name emblazoned across the prized accessory.

While the exact value of the fan’s bag is unknown, a virtually identical Hermès Birkin 35 in shiny crocodile leather, featuring palladium hardware, is currently listed for $44,500 by luxury reseller Madison Avenue Couture.
