Total of 63 contestants of the Beauty of Russia 2012 pageant defiled not on high heels but in military tarpaulin boots. The main theme of the beauty pageant was military, RIA Novosti informs adding winner of the contest was the Ufa city resident 25-year-old Elina Kireeva.

According to the jury, they assessed not only the appearance of the contestants but also the way girls behaved in that style. It was a must for the winner to know a foreign language as she will later present Russia in international beauty pageants.
