In a conversation with a reporter of NEWS.am STYLE the artistic director of the Harmony fashion house, artist and designer Mika Danielian said that in 2013, leather and shiny fabric with interesting texture are fashionable.

“Snake skin both with its texture and pattern can be very different, so the texture of the fabrics remains trendy,” he said.

According to the designer, the New Year will contain be a lot of sparkle, it can be both gold and silver. The main colors of this year are all shades of blue, green, fuchsia color.

In the New Year, large bags will lose their trendiness, but the medium-sized bags will remain in vogue.

The length of skirts in the New Year will be very different too - from ultra-short to medium length.

The designer advises girls, who are not tall, to wear a belt at the waist, it will visually make them taller.

The men fashion is also about to change. Now the jackets come in various colors and textures.

“Do not become a fashion victim, you just take from the trend what fits the person,” the designer said.
