NEWS.am STYLE Exclusive: Arthur Gourounlian About Armenian Street Festival and Iveta Mukuchyan’s Performance During It

12:01, June 20

On July 17th the 6th Armenian Street Festival will be held in UK. This year famous Armenian dancer in UK, Arthur Gourounlian will be the creative director of the show.

In his exclusive interview with NEWS.am STYLE Arthur has revealed some really very interesting details about the Festival and it’s special guests.

«I was privileged to be approached by Bishop Hovakim Manukyan and Dick Bedrossian to be this year’s Creative Director. My role as Creative Director involves making sure everything is on point and the whole event runs on schedule and everyone is where they should be from performers to people selling raffle tickets. Plus to make sure the show is spectacular to watch.

This year we are taking the event to the next level as we have secured some amazing acts such as the super talented Duduk player Gevorg Karapetyan, Violinist Levon Chilingirian and many more...»

But there are still more surprises to go during the Festival. One of them is the performance of Armenian Eurovision star.

«We can officially announce we have secured Iveta Mukuchyan as our headline act. We are really looking forward to having her with us for this beautiful event. She is going to perform some of her hits, but of course the rest I can not reveal as I don’t want to spoil it. You will have to wait until the day ;). One thing I can confirm is that Iveta will spread her LOVE WAVE all over Iverna Gardens».

The ASF committee was set up to organize the annual Armenian Street Festival which celebrates the vibrant Armenian culture and age old traditions, and to introduce and maintain relations with Armenian community members in London.

All profits made as a result of this beautiful festival go to the Armenian Church Trust in UK whose work includes youth fellowship and pastoral and elderly outreach programs as well as support the mission of the Church in UK and outside.
