YEREVAN.- Legendary GAP opened in Armenia’s largest Dalma Garden Mall presenting new collection to Armenian consumers.
“It is the first time GAP is officially represented in Armenia. The store has three sections: GAP for women, men and kids. The largest collection is presented in kids’ section. The store does have a great variety of jeans,” Armine Tadevosyan, marketing manager of Retail Group Armenia – GAP official representative in the country, told NEWS.am STYLE.
GAP is a brand which was popular even during the Soviet times. Despite the Iron Curtain, young people wanted to wear GAP and listen to rock music. Gap was created in 1969, the year of Woodstock and the first man on the moon, becoming the symbol of freedom and sexual revolution.
Don and Doris Fisher opened the first store in San Francisco stocked with Levi’s, records and tapes.
The brand presents casual clothing for the middle class: jeans, long-sleeve shirts, blazers and accessories.
