The well-known photo agency Splash News is on the verge of bankruptcy over Meghan Markle's lawsuit.
On Tuesday, its president, Emma Curzon, in a statement, cited two unfinished lawsuits that have left the agency in financial trouble. Participants in one of them were the Dukes of Sussex.
Curzon noted that now a lot of money is spent on lawyers to challenge the claims of the spouses, but Splash News is no longer able to bear such a financial burden.
Last year, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry sued Splash News as its photographers took pictures of their son Archie during the walk-in Vancouver. The agency also filmed and photographed their home in Canada. The couple called it an invasion of their privacy and were forced to move. The pictures were made public and were leaked to the media. Despite the fact that the agency then apologized to the spouses and promised to pay compensation, Meghan and Harry decided to file the lawsuit.
