Representative of rapper Kanye West (Ye) Pierre Rougier, commented on the reports about the artist's desire to come to Russia and meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Rolling Stone reported.
"Entirely fabricated. Work of fiction or wishful thinking from these Russian people," he noted.
Despite requests from the publication to comment on the situation in more detail, the rapper's representative did not.
The rapper's partner Amir Sadan, who became the source of the rumors, told about the planning of West's trip to Russia, also declined to comment. But representatives of the Russian singer and ex-son-in-law of Azerbaijani President Emin Alagarov claim that negotiations on their cooperation with Kanye are indeed underway.
