Oscar winner Cate Blanchett will be the narrator of the new Netflix streaming service fantasy film "The School for Good and Evil."
Charlize Theron and Kerry Washington will star in the film.
The film is based on a series of books by Soman Chainani. In the story, the town of Gavaldon for 200 years, regularly selects two teenagers to study in a mysterious school for good and evil, where they prepare the heroes and villains. Another choice falls on their best friends, the diligent Sophie and the rebellious Agatha. When they arrive at the institution, they are surprised to find that their fates are mixed up: now Agatha will learn goodness, and Sophie will become a villain.
The film also stars Laurence Fishburne, Michelle Yeoh, Ben Kingsley, Sophia Anne Caruso, Sofia Wylie, and others. It was directed by Paul Feig ("Bridesmaids"). It will be released on Netflix this fall.
