TOPSHOT - Actor Johnny Depp gestures to spectators in court after closing arguments at the Fairfax County Circuit Courthouse in Fairfax, Virginia, on May 27, 2022. Actor Johnny Depp is suing ex-wife Amber Heard for libel after she wrote an op-ed piece in The Washington Post in 2018 referring to herself as a public figure representing domestic abuse.
The first episode will look at the legal proceedings on Depp's part. It will cover the actor's "abusive childhood and drug addiction" to present "an alternate version of events that shows Johnny himself a victim of domestic violence."
The second part of the series will focus on Heard's side. It will show a detailed account of the alleged sexual abuse first told by the actress on camera, and will also touch on how Depp's defenders ruthlessly attacked her via social media.
On June 1, Johnny Depp won in his trial with Heard. A jury found the actor's ex-wife guilty of defamation and ordered her to pay $15 million in damages in Depp's honor and dignity case.
