Netflix has unveiled the first excerpt from its upcoming prequel series "Bridgerton," a visit to Queen Charlotte. The clip was unveiled last night as part of the TUDUM online festival, Variety writes.
The spin-off tells the story of the youth of Queen Charlotte, the heroine of the original series. The published excerpt shows the heroine's first meeting with King George, who would later become her husband. Charlotte tries to climb the wall with ivy to escape from the house, and asks George to help her.
She was played by India Amarteifio. The series also stars Adjoa Andoh, Ruth Gemmell, Michelle Fairley, Corey Mylchreest, Arsema Thomas, and Sam Clemmett.
