Burj Al Arab and Atlantis, The Palm named world’s most Instagrammable hotels

Two architectural marvels of Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE)—Burj Al Arab and Atlantis, The Palm—have been named the most popular hotels in the world on Instagram.

In a survey published by Dubai Tours and Ticket, which surveyed 80 hotels around the world, the Burj Al Arab came out on top, appearing in more than 2.5 million Instagram posts.

The study examined the number of hashtags and geotags containing each hotel's name to identify the top 10 hotels with the highest levels of social media activity.

With its signature sail-shaped façade and majestic man-made island, Burj Al Arab is an iconic landmark on Dubai's glamorous skyline. This luxury hotel offers many great photo opportunities with stunning sea views and breathtaking interiors.

Another popular Dubai hotel, Atlantis, The Palm, came second on the list. Appearing in approximately 673,000 Instagram posts, this 5-star resort is known for its luxurious pink building located on the picturesque Palm Jumeirah.
