The stunning country of Armenia is one such destination that has fewer tourists than many other countries on the continent, but that could soon change as the number of tourists begins to rise, writes the UK's Daily Express.

Yerevan is quickly gaining popularity as a must-visit destination. The city is the capital of the country and one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world, with a current population of just over a million people.

Blogger Kami, who runs the website Kami & The Rest of the World, said that she is drawn to this country again and again. “Are you planning a trip to Armenia? A good choice! This is one of the most charming countries with a rich history, beautiful landscapes, hospitable people and amazing monuments. I have been lucky enough to visit Armenia about 10 times already (I have already lost count), and I am sure that I will return there in the future. There is something attractive about this country that draws you here again and again. I’m sure you will feel it too when you visit Armenia.”
