British singer Elton John has developed his own virtual world in the game Roblox, NME reported.
The artist presented his world Beyond the Yellow Brick Road. The level includes interactive tasks based on Elton John's hits and quizzes. The game will also feature a collection of skins inspired by the singer's images. Fans will be able to try on full outfits or individual items from Elton John's closet on their avatar.
The virtual world will also feature a 10-minute Elton John concert featuring the artist's favorite compositions. The performance will take place on November 17 and will be repeated every hour until November 20.
In a statement, Elton says his family has well-and-truly road-tested Roblox. “I’ve seen the joy that Roblox has bought to my boys and the possibility it creates by the ability to interact with fans in such an exciting, and forward looking way has been mind- blowing to me,” he explains.
“I’ve always been myself and used my image, eyewear, and music to express myself, and Roblox really encourages that self-expression. Now my fans can do the same, and that’s really exciting.”
