Karabakh children who cannot return home perform in downtown Yerevan (PHOTOS)

14:13, December 17

The voice of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) children performing was heard Friday in downtown Yerevan.

These children, who have not been able to go home for the seventh day and join their families, performed from the stage of Yerevan's Seasons Park with songs dedicated to the homeland. The objective was to join the struggle—with their voices and songs—and to tell the world that their rights are being violated.

On December 11, eighteen school-age children, who are the students of Artsakh's various cultural center, had come to Yerevan to attend the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2022.

But ever since Monday’s closure of the Lachin Corridor—connecting Artsakh to Armenia—by Azerbaijan, these kids cannot go back to Artsakh.

"We miss our parents, our homeland very much. But here they do everything for us to make our day go well. We are sure that we will return to our home, Artsakh, to our families," say these children from Artsakh.
