The "Armenia in Eurovision" Instagram page reports that the Junior Eurovision Song Contest held in Yerevan reached about 33 million views.
"An average of 12.8% of all viewers watched the contest organized by the Public Television of Armenia, with most participating broadcasters reporting an increase in audience compared to the 2021 edition.
Children between the ages of 4 and 14 accounted for 18.5% of viewers, more than double the average of previous years. Viewers between the ages of 15 and 24 also doubled in viewership.
Online views of the competition also exceeded last year's figure. 4 times more people watched the live broadcast, compared to 2021.
By the way, "Junior Eurovision 2022" is also unprecedented in the history of Armenian television in terms of TV ratings," reads the published text.
The contest was held on December 10 this year in the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex in Yerevan.
