Actor Will Smith got his first role in 10 months after a scandal at the Oscars, when he punched host Chris Rock in the face after a bad joke about his wife. About this writes The Sun.
According to the media, the artist will play in the 2019 sequel to "Aladdin," where he played the role of Genie. A source familiar with the situation said that the plot will be based in part on the tales of Scheherazade and 1001 nights. Filming of the film could begin as early as the end of 2023.
"This would be one of the first movies Will has shot since the Oscars slap and it is quite surprising, given that it will be for a kids’ film. He has done a lot of work on himself and the consensus is that it will all be very much in the past by the time the movie is released," the insider assured.
