Cher is on the verge of breaking up her relationship with her sons over her affair with Alexander Edwards, who is 40 years younger than the legendary singer, reports Musictimes.

Rumors of Cher's marriage to the young man surfaced after Cher posted a photo of a diamond ring given to her by Edwards. Later it became known that the couple is not going to get married in the near future.  However, according to sources, the singer is having problems because of this relationship with her sons.

Sources told Radar Online that Cher, 76, is thinking of excluding her sons, Chaz Bono, 53, and Elijah Blue Allman, 46, from her $360 million will.  It is alleged that Cher started thinking about it because her children are not supportive of her relationship with her 37-year-old beau.

“Cher is mad at them she’s ready to cut them out of her life completely,” said a source. “She’s been hell-bent on marrying this guy and is speaking to her lawyers about adjusting her will to make A.E. her sole beneficiary.”

Insiders added that the singer and her sons began feuding after Chaz and Elijah accused Edwards of going after the fortune. In their opinion, Edwards maintained a relationship with Cher only to benefit from her popularity and influence in the music industry. Nevertheless, Cher has stated that her children should think about her happiness, not her money.

According to another source, Edwards has not paid for anything since they met in Paris.

Nevertheless, Cher insists that it is her business and choice who she dates.

As for their age difference, she is said to be fine with their nearly 40-year age difference. Cher is far from new to relationships with younger men, as she has previously dated Val Kilmer and Tom Cruise, among others.

Cher herself also posted a recently deleted tweet in which she said that love knows no math.
