American Armenians have called on Kim Kardashian to speak out about the humanitarian disaster in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh).

Over the weekend, dozens of American Armenian protestors blocked the entrance to the exclusive Hidden Hills community in Calabasas, CA where the 42-year-old American Armenian reality star lives with her children, The Daily Mail reported.

Several other members of the celebrity family live in the community, including sisters Kourtney, 44, Khloe, 38, Kylie Jenner, 26 and their mom Kris Jenner, 67.

During the demonstration, the protesters waved Armenian national flags and held up signs that read “Kim, Speak up for Artsakh” and “Kim, Your People Need You.”

The protestors have been staging traffic blocks around the greater Los Angeles area for few weeks to draw attention to the ongoing crisis in Artsakh—where some 120,000 ethnic Armenians live—due to its blockade by Azerbaijan.
