The Panty Show exhibition of artist, designer, and couturier Michaela Stark opened as part of Milan Fashion Week. The exhibition is dedicated to body positivity and love for fat bodies.

Stark became known in some London circles for her avant-garde designs of corsets and bands with strategically placed holes that create bulges or accentuate the curve of the chest or abdomen.
In 2022, she launched her custom clothing business. Her Milan show marks the launch of a new venture: the lingerie and ready-to-wear brand Panty, which she founded with partner and photographer Raga Munecas. “Panty was created by a lesbian couple,” Michaela noted. "We're taking the male gaze out of photography," Stark told The New York Times. “I spend an obscene amount of time creating underwear that makes fat desirable.”
Despite the skepticism, Stark is determined to show that she can create pieces that can be worn every day. The debut collection features fabrics from luxury fashion houses, including silk, Chantilly lace, and tulle.
