Kris Jenner responded to the haters and, also, ridiculed references to her on social media and in song lyrics in an interview with Los Angeles Magazine, which named her "Woman of the Year."
Speaking about online haters, she noted that “it’s unfortunate, but there are a lot of people who feel like they need to express their opinion about someone else, and often it’s cruel. It affects people's mental health."
“I can’t imagine publicly expressing my opinion about someone knowing it would hurt someone’s feelings. I don't know how or where it came from; in most cases, these are unhappy people who are dissatisfied with their lives. It’s a shame that our society has come to this,” Jenner said, adding that “the good news is that I don’t read the comments. For the most part I don’t pay attention. I'm too busy."
During the interview with Los Angeles Magazine, Kris responded also to mentions of her and her family on social media; in particular, about the videos made by influencer Yuri Lamasbella, known for imitating the Kardashians on Instagram and TikTok.
“I would like to be her manager because I want her to make a lot of money for everything she does. She’s amazing,” said Kris.
The name “Kris” has been mentioned in many songs over the years, and was most recently featured in Megan Thee Stallion's track, “Hiss,” which was released earlier this year.
Some other musical artists, such as Drake with his 2016 track “4pm In Calabasas,” also have used Kris Jenner's name in songs.
“I don’t know how I ended up in all these rap songs over the years,” Jenner said jokingly. “Depending on the lyrics, they are quite flattering. I think my grandchildren, the older they get, the more they enjoy it. So at least that makes me 10% cool as a grandma.”
