Inna Sahakyan will serve on the jury for this year’s Annecy International Animation Film Festival in France, Armenian Film Society reports.
Inna Sahakyan’s AURORA’S SUNRISE had its world premiere at the film festival in 2022, which is known as the largest animation festival in the world. The director will serve on the jury for “Contrechamp Feature Films,” a feature competition section that was introduced in 2018 and the section in which her film premiered in.
Inna Sahakyan is a documentary film director and producer from Armenia, whose films have won multiple awards including the Asia Pacific Screen Awards 2022 for Best Animated Film, a Special Mention and the Audience Award at Movies that Matter 2023 and the Grand Prix at FIFDH – International Film Festival and Forum on Human Rights in Geneva 2023, among others.
Annecy International Animation Film Festival runs from June 9 until June 15 in Annecy, France.
