They are famous for their light and refreshing character, delicate aroma and taste, which make them simply delicious saviors for hot summer days.

In this review, we'll look at some great rosé wines that are worth trying this summer to cool you down and lift your spirits on those sultry days in Yerevan.

Anselmann Pinot Noir Rose

This wine is produced in Germany, in the Palatinate region, from Pinot Noir grapes, known for its exquisite taste and aroma. It has bright and fresh aromas of red berries such as strawberries and raspberries, with light notes of flowers and grapefruit. The taste of this wine is delicate, balanced, with refreshing acidity and a pleasant fruity aftertaste.

It pairs perfectly with salads with a light dressing, shrimp or mussels. It can be served also as an aperitif, or enjoyed in combination with fruit desserts and soft cheeses.

Dove Canyon Rose Dry

Our Armenian rosé wine made from the Areni variety. It is sophisticated and elegant, with a delicate aroma of roses and cherries. The taste is rich, but at the same time light, with pleasant berry acidity.

Pares Balta "Ros De Pacs"

Spanish organic rosé wine produced in the Penedès region from Grenache and Cabernet Sauvignon grape varieties. "Ros de Pacs" has the expressive aroma of those same berries picked from a neighbor's bush, and the sweetish fragrance of flowers after long rainy days. The taste is rich and balanced, with notes of raspberries and strawberries, finished with light sourness.

It pairs perfectly with light pastas and creamy desserts.

Kataro Rose Dry

Another Armenian dry rosé wine made from Areni grapes. The aroma is woven from the nuances of strawberry, red currant, and fresh rose. The taste is refreshing and light, berry, with good structure and a long aftertaste. Suitable for pairing with fish, a croissant filled with salmon or avocado, or a sweet dessert with berry or pistachio filling.

Hovaz Rose

Also rosé wine from Armenia, made from Areni and Syrah grape varieties. This wine is characterized by its refined and harmonious taste. It has an interesting sweetish aroma of barberry, which is intertwined with the fragrance of bush roses. The taste is soft, refreshing, with light, unobtrusive acidity and a long berry aftertaste.
